Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award -ALMA- 

ALMA is the world's largest award in its genre - children's and youth literature. Every year, a jury selects an author, illustrator or reading-promoting organization who, during an award ceremony, receives 5 million Swedish kronor, flowers and a diploma.
